Sand Blasting
A process that uses different medias to clean and prep parts for coatings.
What is sand blasting?
Sand blasting is a process that uses different medias to clean and prep parts for coatings. We employ both Coal Slag (20/40 grit) and Nickel Slag (40/70 grit) to do this.
Slag medias produce very little dust on their own and are safe for the user. They also leave good profiles to adhere to.
For delicate work, walnut shell and soda blasting gently remove paint without damaging the underlying metal — ideal for thin panels, aluminum, and sensitive substrates.
Coal Slag
20/40 grit media for aggressive stripping and profiling of heavier parts.
Nickel Slag
40/70 grit media for a finer profile and cleaner adhesion surface.
Walnut Blasting
Crushed walnut shell media that removes paint gently without damaging the metal beneath.
Soda Blasting
Baking-soda media that strips paint clean while leaving the substrate untouched and intact.
Low dust, safe & precise
Our medias produce very little dust on their own, are safe for the operator, and leave an ideal surface profile for coating adhesion — the foundation of a finish that lasts.
