Powder Coat, Cerakote, Sandblasting or Soda Blasting. What Can We Do For You?

We've got you covered!

What is Soda Blasting?

Soda Blasting is a process that uses soda (Baking Soda) to remove coatings, it is not good for removing rust, but it will remove paint and other coatings from just about anything, steel, aluminum, wood, fiberglass, and plastics. The best part about soda is it will not warp metals like sand-blasting as it creates no friction to remove coatings so there is no heat. Soda is both safe for us to use and for the environment.

What is Sandblasting?

Sandblasting is a process that uses different media to clean and prep parts for coatings.

We employ both Coal Slag (20/40 grit) and Nickel Slag (40/70 grit) to do this. Slag media produce very little dust on their own and are safe for the user, they also leave good profiles to adhere to.

What is Cerakote Firearms Coating?

Cerakote is a coating primarily for high temp applications and firearms but has a lot of other uses. It is a ceramic-based coating that goes on very thin (1/2 to 1 MIL) but is very tough. It has a chemical resistance to just about everything you can put on it including paint strippers, it is very flexible, and above all, it looks awesome. It can be done in all kinds of patterns, solid colors, two-tone, and comes in about 100+ colors. Cerakote generates no VOC’s so they are safe for the environment.

What is Powder Coating?

Powder coating is an advanced method of applying a decorative and protective coating to a wide range of materials and products that are used by both industries and consumers. The powder used for the process is a mixture of finely ground particles of pigment and resin, which is sprayed onto the surface to be coated. The powder particles adhere to the surfaces using a negative charge on the part and positively charging the powder, like static electricity, then heated and fused into a finished coating in a curing oven. The result is a uniform, durable, high-quality, and attractive coating. There are many types of finishes that can be applied, high gloss, low gloss, textured, metallic’s, candy’s or transparent’s, plastic or rubberized coatings, and special effects. We also offer Cerakote Firearm & high temp coatings.
